George Washington Wolf is the son of Jacob Wolf. The Jacob Wolf family has been extensively researched. See http://www.geocities.com/dbton/Wolf/wolf.htm.

George Washington Wolf is the third child of Jacob and Mildred Wolf. He is born in Kentucky in 1813. Sometime in the 1820's the Jacob Wolf family moves to Arkansas. George Washington Wolf marries Malinda McFelch and their first child Sarah is born in 1835. Seven children are born to this union. Well maybe. There are children listed in the succeeding census records that belong to George's brother who died about 1853, so some uncertainty exists about parentage for some children. See Malinda McFelch's page.

The Wolf family joined other family of the post-civil war era and moved to Texas. Somewhere along the journey George Washington Wolf died. His family made it to Texas where his widow lived until 1899.

See Malinda McFelch page for more information on the children.
