In 1866 Francis Aday Hamilton dies. Before the 1870 Census Her husband Reuben has remarried to Martha Caroline Little. Martha is the Mother of Lucretia Babb from her previous marriage to Tristrum Babb. Frances son's  Rufus Hamiltion had married Lucretia Babb in 1860, about six years prior to his Mother's death.
