Elizabeth Thompson Frazier
Name: Elizabeth Frazier Born: about 1804, Tennessee Died: after 1880 Burial:
Father: Mother:
Married: Julius Caesar Lightfoot Children: Joseph L. Lightfoot (1837 - ) Amanda Victoria Lightfoot (1840 - ) Thomas Jefferson Lightfoot (1841 - 1900) William Henry Lightfoot (1847 - 1922) Mary E Lightfoot (1851 - 1870)
A marriage record exists for Elizabeth and Julius Frazier. She is listed in the census records of 1850 and 1860 as wife of Julius Lightfoot. We believe Julius died before the 1870 census. Julius and Elizabeth's sons William and Thomas Lightfoot are in residence in Texas by the 1870 census. Living with William is a women named Elizabeth whose age on the 1870 census is listed as 60. No last name is given, so presumably this Elizabeth's surname is Lightfoot. This does not match the age of Elizabeth according to the prior census records of 1850 and 1860, but an educated guess is that this is Elizabeth Lightfoot, Mother of William.
When was Elizabeth born? In the 1850 census Elizabeth age is listed as 46. In the 1860 census her age is listed as 52. In the 1870 census her age is listed at 60, and in the 1880 census her age is listed as 72. The calculated birth years would be 1804, 1808, 1810, and 1808 respectively.
In 1880 Elizabeth is living with her son-in-law, Joseph Prestridge, in Cherokee County, Texas, next to her son William Henry Lightfoot. Joseph's wife is not listed and he is presumably a widower. The only female in the Lightfoot clan that Joseph could have married iJoseph s Sarah, who was probably a step-daughter of Elizabeth. This is the last record found of Elizabeth,
