The Hickey Cemetery is located west of Hillsboro, in Hill County. Take Highway 22 West to County Road 2421. It is 2.6 miles from the Courthouse in Hillsboro to the turn for 2421. There is a highway sign for "Hickey Cemetery" at the turn. It is a left turn, or to the south. Travel 1.3 miles to the a tee intersection, turn left at the tee onto CR 2436. The Union Bluff Community Hall is at this intersection and the right turn continues 2421. Follow 2436, which will make a left turn, and then become County 2431. From the intersection of 2421/2436 to the Hickey Cemetery is about 3.6 miles. The cemetery is on the south side of the road and 2431 makes a sharp south turn as you come to the cemetery. If you are also interested in the Lightfoot family, you can continue from here to the Old Lebanon Cemetery where children of Francis Lee Lightfoot and William Henry Lightfoot are buried.

Three shots "pasted" together to show panorama of Cemetery

These pictures were taken on March 31, 2007 and a large road grader was parked in front of the cemetery, so a wide shot from the other side of the road would not have been a flattering sight.
