Boggy Depot Oklahoma
Boggy Depot was occupied from 1837 to the early 20th Century. Today Boggy Depot is a state park in Oklahoma. No structures survived from the town, but historical markers point out the location where buildings and homes use to stand. The town thrive as the site of Butterfield Overland stage depot.
The cemetery does remain. Many of the markers have fallen over, are overgrown, or are broken.
George and Deliah Robinson are buried at Boggy Depot. Rufus Lafayette Hamilton wintered at Boggy Depot during the Civil War while serving in the 2nd Cherokee Regiment.
